Nel 2093, il regista Kuve viaggia a Umata per documentare le conseguenze di una guerra che ha riportato in vita antichi regni. Lì incontra Mumbi, che lo sfida a realizzare il suo film senza l’uso dell’intelligenza artificiale. Nel tentativo di trovare la propria voce, Kuve inizia a comprendere che anche in un mondo distrutto la bellezza può ancora esistere nei piccoli momenti umani che troppo spesso ignoriamo.
In 2093, filmmaker Kuve travels to Umata to document the aftermath of a war that revived ancient kingdoms. There, he meets Mumbi, who challenges him to make his film without AI. As Kuve searches for his own voice, he begins to understand that even in a broken world, beauty can be found in small human moments we often overlook.

Damien Hauser è un regista, sceneggiatore e filmmaker svizzero-keniota. Nato a Zurigo nel 2001, ha iniziato a realizzare cortometraggi all’età di sette anni. Ha studiato cinema presso la SAE dal 2016 al 2020 e ha lavorato per la casa di produzione pubblicitaria FILME VON DRAUSSEN dal 2018 al 2020. Nel corso della sua carriera, Damien ha prodotto una vasta gamma di cortometraggi, videoclip musicali, spettacoli teatrali e spot pubblicitari, sempre guidato dalla passione per la narrazione di finzione. Negli ultimi anni ha realizzato tre lungometraggi presentati in importanti festival internazionali, tra cui Tallinn Black Nights, IFFR Rotterdam e BFI London. I suoi film hanno ricevuto numerosi premi e sono disponibili su piattaforme come Netflix. Nel 2024 ha fondato Hauserfilm, una casa di produzione attraverso la quale continua a dare vita sul grande schermo a storie coinvolgenti e di risonanza globale.
Damien Hauser is a Swiss-Kenyan filmmaker, writer, and director. Born in Zurich in 2001, he began producing short films at the age of seven. He studied film at SAE from 2016 to 2020 and worked for the commercial production company FILME VON DRAUSSEN from 2018 to 2020. Throughout his career, Damien has produced a wide range of short films, music videos, plays, and commercials, always driven by his passion for fictional storytelling. In recent years, he has completed three feature films that have screened at major international festivals including Tallinn Black Nights, IFFR Rotterdam, and BFI London. His films have also received several awards and are available on platforms such as Netflix. In 2024, he founded Hauserfilm, a production company through which he continues to bring captivating and globally resonant stories to life on the big screen.
